Addition of Dunkleosteus will require the skills and abilities of an artist(s) who has previous experience creating public art installations. The artist(s) will understand the requirements to build a sculpture that will both endure weather/climatic changes and hold up to the impacts of visitors who may attempt to physically interact with it. The artist(s) will work closely with ODNR staff to ensure a quality installation, including: Seeking guidance from the Division of Geological Survey paleontologist to ensure the Dunkleosteus sculpture is a scientifically accurate or plausible representation. Coordinate placement and scheduling of the installation with ODNR facilities staff to avoid conflicts with existing infrastructure in the Natural Resources Park.
