Site work and new construction of a civil project in Weyauwega, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work, in general, will include the following schedule of work: Construction of masonry booster pump station building with pre-engineered wood roof trusses; booster pumps; discharge piping, pressure reducing valve and appurtenances; HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work; site work including trenching, excavation, backfilling and compaction; water distribution system and sanitary sewer installation; surface replacement and landscape restoration; onsite generator installation; electrical system upgrades for the municipal water system; and electrical service to the new elevated water storage tank. The project is funded in part with a federal Community Development Block Grant. Federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rates are applicable to this project per Federal Labor Provisions (4010). Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and minimum wage and fringe rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. We encourage MBEs, DBEs, and WBEs to submit bid proposals. The solicitation of subcontractors must evidence a good faith effort to obtain bids from MBEs, DBEs and WBEs, such efforts to be documented.
