Renovation of a transportation facility in Seatac, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

**As of 3/25/2020 the project has been awarded but bidder information is unavailable.** The Port of Seattle is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Advertisement for Bids. The Work includes: A. This project is to replace the aging and no longer supported GE FANUC 90-30 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) proces!sors and associated equipment used to control and. monitor the Port of Seattle's Main Terminal Emergency Power Supply (EPS). The BPS consists of two 1500KW emergency generators EG1 and EG2, emergency power buses 2 and 3, switchgear breakers, and ancillary mechanical systems (generator fueling, cooling, venti-lation, and fire suppression). B. There are two other genera-tors EG3 and E04 which feed bus 1 in the emergency power switch-gear. These generators are no lon!ger in service, and there are no longer any loads connected to bus 1.. All equipment related to Ea3 and EG4 will be tagged as "Out; of Service". C. At least one of the two 1500KW generators roust be available at any time to ensure the ports emergency power load requirements can be met. Construction will be completed in phased cutovers to ensure this. Comprehensive testing and com!missioning will be completed at each phase and will follow the testing and commissioning plan. A temporary load bank will be used to test and verify the gener ators once the PLC cutovers are complete. D. The replacement PLC equipment will be Allen Bradley ControlLogix. A new HMI work!station will be installed utiliz!ing Rockwell Factory Talk View SE software. All PLC and HMI programming will be provided by the contractor for a complete and operational system, including a comprehensive offline simulated bench test. E. The Siemens Building DDC system has a node (#43) that reads data from the M1 PLC. This provides remote monitor!ing and alarming for the genera!tor ancillary systems. T.he exist!ing Siemens 'Node 43' control!ler will be upgraded to a modern controller. This controller will be phased in. with. the new Allen Bradley PLC's to maintain exist!ing :monitoring capabilities via the Building DDC monitoring system. Modbus ETU communications will be utilized to interface between the Siemens and Allen Bradley controllers. Location: T.he work area is located in the Main Terminal, of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport., 17801. International Boulevard, City of SeaTac, WA 98168, The Engineer estimate range for this project is $900.k $2 million. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 300 cal!endar days. Contractor must achieve Physical Completion within 60 days of Substantial Completion.
