Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Littleton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of this contract generally consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a 500,000 gallon capacity composite elevated welded steel water storage tank in Littleton, MA with associated piping and appurtenances, installation of a tank mixing system, electrical work, and site work. Piping shall consist of approximately 250 linear feet of new 12-inch diameter ductile iron water main. Other work includes the decommissioning and demolition of the existing 530,000 gallon capacity, 115-foot tall, 28-foot diameter welded steel Cedar Hill Tank located at the site. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price will be required. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149
