Renovation of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,500-square-foot educational facility.
As of August 23, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of September 2022. Replaces two existing fluoroscopy rooms and a nuclear medicine camera along with renovation of surrounding support spaces including an existing toilet to comply with ADA. Scope of work includes associated MEP, Fire Protection Systems, and Hazardous Material removal. The work is to be performed in three phases. Phase one - the Zee MP and Spect CT areas, phase two - the Agile area and phase three - the tech work area. The Project includes modifying existing spaces in Doan-Rhodes 2nd floor imaging Areas as related to equipment replacement with associated controls including any Shielding deemed necessary, horizontally, vertically, interior, and exterior with associated MEP, Fire Protection and other Systems as indicated on drawings and specifications. The Project is designed in coordination with The University's Sustainability Requirements. For percentage of construction waste recycling, refer to Division 01 Section "Recycling of Construction Waste". The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 5.0 percent General Contract = $996,000.00 Alternate 1 = $165,000.00 Alternate 2 = $ 55,000.00 Consistent with university guidelines and the recent federal action plan, all vendor employees, subcontractors and subconsultants identified as embedded within The Ohio State University are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. New vendors who become university vendors after the December 8, 2021 deadline will have 30 days to come into compliance.
