Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ewing, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of April 27, 2021, the project has been awarded for a period of one (1) year from April 01, 2021, to March 31, 2022 . Road Reconstruction at 1621 North Olden Avenue, Ewing Township for the City of Trenton, Department of Water and Sewer Questions must be submitted in writing to igarcia@trentonnj.org. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to the Owner. Successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. Successful bidder shall with the delivery of the performance bond submit an executed payment bond to guarantee payment to laborers and suppliers for the labor and material used in the work performed under the contract. Successful bidder shall upon acceptance of the work submit a maintenance bond in the amount of 100% guaranteeing against defective quality of work or materials for the period All work shall be completed within 30 days from notice to proceed. 1. Milling of FABC and Installation Stabilized Base Cut sizes for this process shall be of various widths and lengths. The depth of milling of existing roadway shall be up to 2 inches. The milling machine shall be equipped with automatic grade control system, either ski type or string line. Areas to be milled which are not accessible to the milling machine shall be removed by other equipment. The milling operation shall be carried out in a manner that prevents dust and other particulate matter from escaping into air. The contractor shall be responsible for hauling away and disposing of the milled material without any extra cost to the City of Trento The milling shall provide a skid resistance not less than that of the original surface prior to milling and shall permit the safe passage of traffic. The Contractor shall remove the existing roadway to a depth of 10" where indicated by the Trenton Water Works Representative. The removal of the existing roadway may not be able to be performed by a Large Milling Machine due to the existing roadway damage. The Contractor shall be responsible to remove and dispose of all spoils off site.
