**As of February 16, 2021. Project has been awarded. Bid amount received $298,950.40 Bids must be sealed and endorsed on the outside of the envelope with the name of the bidder and the project bid upon. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time will neither be read nor considered. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1) A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents or 2) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of Ottawa County, Ohio, and the Ohio Department of Transportation in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. he Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in any bid(s), and to award the contract to the lowest and best bidder in accordance with Section 307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code as determined by the Board of Ottawa County Commissioners.
