As of April 19,2021 project was awarded to BRB Contractors, Inc, bid amount of $2,529,915.00 with an anticipated start date of June 1st, 2021. The Work generally described is replacement of an existing 30-inch ductile iron pipe with 5,590 feet of 30-inch ductile iron or PVC pipe and all appurtenant work as indicated on the drawings and specifications. a. Background - Portion of main that conveys water from Hansen treatment plant to Woodson Pump Station. b. Approximately 5,590 LF 30" transmission main. Primarily PVC or DIP with 120 LF HDPE sliplined. Much follows existing 30" DIP alignment which will require removal and disposal of existing 30" main. c. Design and waterline installation inspection by WaterOne staff. This is a reminder that the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for WaterOne Project MP-19000 will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd at 1:30 pm. The conference can be attended either in-person or remotely. The inperson conference will be held at the WaterOne administrative office at 10747 Renner Boulevard Lenexa, KS, in the Board Room.
