Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Deussen Parkway Sidewalk, Trail, and Intersection Improvements project will construct approximately 1.6 miles of sidewalk and trail from Summerwood Lakes Dr. to Deussen Park in northeast Houston, Harris County. The section of new sidewalk will be constructed connecting Summerwood Lakes Dr. to West Lake Houston Parkway and a new 12-ft wide concrete shared-use path from West Lake Houston to Deussen Park. The new trail will use the existing bridge connection across the G103-52-00 channel. The trail improvements to be performed shall include but are not limited to the following: Removal of existing ramps and sections of existing sidewalk. Clearing and excavation for new concrete sidewalk and trail. Construction of approximately 1.6 miles of sidewalk and a 12-foot wide concrete shared-use path. Construction of sidewalk connections and ramps. Implementation of traffic control plans in accordance with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Installation of crossing signage and pavement markings. Provision of storm water pollution prevention measures during construction. Implementation of storm water quality management plan.
