Reference number : 1564299 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-02-14 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 8 Estimated value: $733,600 to $6,056,099 Public body : Center de services scolaire de Laval Description : Title: Replacement of the heat production system and upgrade fire detection and alarm systems at Ecole Coeur-Soleil Tender Number: 2021/22-055 Project number: 010-388913 Brief description of construction work required : This call for tenders aims to find a CONTRACTOR capable of carrying out: Heater Replacement of the two existing boilers; Replacement of complete piping in the mechanical room; Replacement of all heaters; Replacement of the pneumatic control by a DDC type control. Plumbing Upgrading the water inlet, adding a smart meter; Replace galvanized steel sanitary drain piping with cast iron, with insulation of all cold water, hot water and domestic recirculated water piping. Electricity Dismantle the electrical components supplying the dual energy; Unify electrical inputs; Construction of a new electric mass; Installation of a new TSS; Replacement of 240 volt distribution panels; Replacement of the 100 Amp disconnector for the 600 volt distribution; Replacement of the metering box for the 600 volt distribution; Install a new 600 amp disconnect switch; Install a new 600 volt main panel; Fire alarm, emergency lighting and exit indicators; Replacement and upgrading of the addressable fire alarm network and its components and connected to the emergency center; A new fire alarm panel; Added an alarm station in the gymnasium area. Work schedule Unless otherwise decided by the PARTIES in accordance with the Contract, the Work must be carried out according to the Schedule provided for in clause 4.2 of section 00 00 08 of the architectural specifications. EXECUTION OF THE WORKS IN TWO SEPARATE PHASES The work will be carried out in two distinct phases, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications according to the schedule described in clause 4.2 of section 00 00 08 of the Architectural Specification: Phase 1 Start of work: June 27, 2022* Acceptance without reservation of the works: September 15, 2022* Phase 2 Start of work: May 1, 2023* Acceptance of works without reservation: September 15, 2023* Consequently, the two phases will be managed separately with regard to payment terms and the issuance of work acceptance certificates. Provided that the site is completely demobilized following the acceptance without reservation of the work of phase 1, the insurance cover could be suspended until the start of the work of phase 2. If necessary, proof of insurance coverage must be forwarded before the start of the work of phase 2. The Contractor will be responsible for any delay in the execution of the work in connection with the failure to submit the required proof of insurance. The guarantees offered in the form of a bond must be valid for the entire duration of the Contract. *In the event of a discrepancy between the present dates and those provided for in the Estimate, the dates of the Estimate take precedence. Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act and being a CCQ member will be considered for the award of the contract . Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender. Tender guarantee (nature and amount): 10% of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution. Performance Guarantee : Performance guarantee of 50% of the amount of the Contract in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution. Guarantee of obligations for pledges and materials of 50% of the amount of the Contract in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution.
