1. Demolish and haul away existing steel troughs in WTP II Basins 1, 5, 6 & 8. 2. Replace existing steel troughs in WTP II Basins 1, 5, 6 & 8, including leveling the troughs. 3. Install FRP weir plates at each new trough, including leveling the weir plates. 4. Coat steel troughs with high performance epoxy coating. This project is located at NTMWD Wylie Plant, 505 E. Brown Street, Wylie, Texas 75098. Project includes construction of new steel troughs above the existing basins. Section includes requirements for cleanup, restabilization, restoration and disposal to maintain a safe and well-kept job site and properly repair disturbed areas. 1.2 CLEANUP A. Proceed with construction cleanup as construction progresses. 1. Remove mud, oil, grease, soil, gravel, trash, scrap, debris, and excess materials that are unsightly or may cause accidents to persons or properties. 2. Remove water from floor areas where electrical power tools are to be used, and prevent stains on concrete that will be exposed in finish work. 3. Select and employ cleaning materials and equipment with care to avoid scratching, marring, defacing, staining, or discoloring surfaces cleaned. B. Final Cleanup: Perform immediately before written request for final inspection of Project work or any portion thereof. C. Besides normal "Broom Clean" requirements, clean exposed surfaces as listed. 1. Painted Surfaces: Remove marks, stains, fingerprints, and dirt. 2. Exposed Slabs: Wash, scrape, and scrub, using detergent to remove dirt and discolorations. 3. Asphalt Paving: Remove mud, oil, grease, dirt, and trash and hose down. 4. Other Surfaces: Remove blemishes, leave clean, uniform, and dirt-free. 5. Premises and Site: Remove trash and debris. D. Leave premises orderly and "Broom Clean."
