The City of Medicine Hat Electric Generation Department is soliciting proposals to disassemble, clean, inspect & reassemble one (1) LM2500+DLE and one (1) LM6000PD Hot Sections and Combustors. The supplier must overhaul to OEM specifications and quality and provide documentation to certify as such. Turbine Rear Frames will need to be dismantled, inspected and de-coked as required. All bearings and inlet gear boxes will need to be disassembled, inspected and replaced if required. Transfer gear boxes, starters and clutches are to be cleaned and inspected. IGV, VSV and VBV actuators are to be cleaned and inspected. DLE bleed valves are to be cleaned and inspected. All premixers are to be cleaned, inspected and flow tested; the flow test results must be included in the final shop report. High Pressure Compressor stator stages 3 through 5 variable stator vane bushings will need to be replaced as per GE Service Bulletin. Spring and fall 2020 borescope inspection reports showed that the units were serviceable with no major issues found. We require that the rebuilt engines will develop through performance test based on GE original test specifications on power output and NOx level adjusted for elevation and site condition. And test results shall be supplied. These units will be prepped and shipped to your service shop at determined dates. The unit will have 25,000 run hours by May 2021. The existing LM6000PD was installed in April 2018. The unit will have 30,000 run hours by October 2021.
