The project includes comprehensive improvements to the Auburn Water Filtration Plant, including process mechanical, architectural, structural, electrical, and HVAC improvements. All work will occur at the Auburn Water Filtration Plant located in Auburn, NY. Questions shall be submitted in writing to Erica Goldin at erica.goldin@ghd.com. The subject heading for all e-mails shall be Auburn WFP Improvements. No response may be given to questionsreceived lessthan nine calendar days before the Bid opening date. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 60 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the City of Auburn and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions. The Bid is subject to MBE/WBE participation requirements and a preliminary Statement of Utilization of MBE/WBE must accompany each Bid. MBE/WBE participation requirements shall be in accordance with NYSEFC goals, which has a combined minimum of 30%. The Bid issubject to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses(SDVOB) participation requirements and a preliminary Statement of Utilization of SDVOB must accompany each Bid. SDVOB participation requirements shall be in accordance with NYSEFC goals, which has a minimum of 6%. The number of days to achieve Substantial Completion is 365 days from the date stated above for the commencement of the Contract Times, resulting in a date for Substantial Completion of [date, calculated from commencement date above]; and the number of days to achieve readiness for final payment is 395 days from the commencement date of the Contract Times, resulting in a date for readiness for final payment of [date, calculated from commencement date above] The City of Auburn reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
