Renovation of a municipal facility in Beverly Hills, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. City of Beverly Hills has determined that all bidders for the CITY HALL TOWER SEISMIC UPGRADE AND SHELL AND CORE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid on that Project. It is mandatory that all Contractors who intend to submit a bid, fully complete the prequalification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the CITY to be on the final qualified Bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements. If two or more business entities submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, or expect to submit a bid as part of a Joint Venture, each entity within the Joint Venture must be separately qualified to bid. The CITY reserves the right to adjust, increase, limit, suspend or rescind the prequalification rating based on subsequently learned information. Contractors whose rating changes sufficiently to disqualify them will be notified, and given an opportunity for a hearing consistent with the hearing procedures described below for appealing a prequalification rating. Questions regarding the questionnaire and the qualification package are to be directed to the project manager, Mandana Motahari (email: mmotahari@beverlyhills.org), through online no later than 5:00 PM, February 3, 2021. A 10% bidder's security or bid bond will be required to bid, and the selected lowest responsible bidder will be required to provide 100% performance & payment bonds.
