The City of Fruita is accepting sealed bids for the Maple St. Improvements Project Phase 2 in the City of Fruita, Mesa County, Colorado. This project consists of the removal and replacement of existing sanitary sewer facilities and installation of dry utility conduit along Maple St. between Pabor Ave. and McCune Ave. in Fruita. Work includes, but is not limited to, installation and maintenance of traffic control, removal of existing asphalt, concrete and sanitary sewer line and manholes, modification of existing manholes, installation of new sewer manholes, sewer main line and service laterals, installation of dry utility conduit, required sewer bypass pumping, storm water and ground water mitigation and management (including any required permitting), asphalt patching and concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, drainage pan and curb ramp replacement. All questions requiring a response prior to the bid opening shall be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) prior to 12:00 Noon on Wednesday February 3rd , 2021. An Addendum addressing questions and clarifications will be issued by the end of day on Wednesday February 3th , 2021. The City expects to issue a Notice of Award by the end of day on Monday February 8th , 2021 and have a signed Contract by the following week.
