Cornell University is seeking proposals from consultants to provide design services for the alteration and replacement of the HVAC systems in Stocking Hall East Rooms 280, 281, 283, 284, 286, 287, 289, 20024, 20025, 20047, and 20067. The purpose of the project is to provide alterations to the HVAC systems and the replacement of critical components of the HVAC systems for rooms 280, 281, 283, 284, 286, 287, 289, 20024, 20025, 20047, and 20067 in the Stocking Hall East Food Processing Lab. The inability to control space temperatures and required air flows is affecting research and occupant comfort along with contributing to excessive corrective maintenance costs. Scope of Services The services indicated below shall include, but not be limited to: Re-ducting for Rooms 286 and 289 (Item 5 Appendix D from Study) Re-ducting of VVB4/4A in the Kjeldahl Room (Item 6 Appendix D from Study) Rm 281 Lab Air Change Rate (Item 7 Appendix D from Study) Rm 284 Lab Air Valve Replacement (Item 8 Appendix D from Study) Dehumidified air source to the common corridor and bathrooms (Item 9 Appendix D from Study) AHU 4-7 Replacements (Item 10 Appendix D from Study) Replace hot water baseboard valves in rooms 286 and 289 and re-pipe from corridor 20047 to reheat loop in corridor 20046 Replace ductwork for one Kjeldahl hood and one Fume hood and associated roof exhaust fans Replace Kjeldahl hoods and fume hood Architectural, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and environmental design to be included to accommodate the HVAC work scope Assist in scheduling and phasing of the work in an occupied facility Provide cost estimate associated with the scope of work.
