Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in St Catharines, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a museum.
The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for Morningstar Mill - Dam Reconstruction and Grist Mill Upgrades. Scope of work includes: - Reconstruction of the existing dam. - Replace existing horizontal penstock. - Replace existing wooden water inlet. - Construction of retaining wall. - Construction of viewing area adjacent to the dam, including stairs, guards and handrails. - Connection from bridge to viewing area. -Install new limestone screenings. - Grist Mill masonry re-pointing, masonry repairs and paint repairs. - Replace shingles on Miller's house roof. - Repair Miller's house foundation and waterproof the basement. - Replace shingles on Sawmill roof. - Repair cracks in block walls and excavate test pit to uncover footing at Northwest Corner of the Barn.
