As of January 24, 2022, a designer has been selected. No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The project area is located in Seabourne Creek Park on the east side of State Highway 36 approximately one half (1/2) mile south of Interstate 69. The consultant will perform architectural, engineering, and construction administration services associated with the new Seabourne Creek Park Nature Center. A landscape package will be developed as an alternate bid. The facility should be approximately 8,000 gross square feet in size and will include an interactive education space, small classroom, pavilion, and support spaces. Additionally, the project includes revised parking and drop-off area, nature play, trails and other appropriate outdoor educational opportunities. The project is funded by the City of Rosenberg. Five (5) copies of the completed SOQ must be received by the City of Rosenberg in a sealed package.Four (4) copies are to be bound and one (1) copy to be free of binding for distribution along with an electronic format i.e., thumb drive, etc. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, the successful respondent must be able to provide The City of Rosenberg with a printed and executed original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) with the signed contract. Failure to do so will result in the Citys inability to execute the contract.The Citys identification number (Item 3 on Form 1295) for the successful respondent to fill out Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 for RFQ No. 2021-09Q will be TXE2021-09.
