Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Etobicoke, Ontario. Working plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 148,586-square-foot, three-story above grade, 1,300-seat educational facility; and day care center.
Replacement of Bishop Allen Academy. Project also includes a daycare facility. TIMELINE: Designs are complete. Provincial funding has been approved for this site. Owner is awaiting final site plan approvals from the city of Toronto. Prequalification for general contractors has closed (RFSQ-003-24); as of June 17, 2024, six (6) firms have prequalified. Stage II tender timeline to the prequalified firms has yet to be issued; a timeline for the Stage II RFP to the prequalified firms is currently unknown. Target occupancy: September 2027.
