Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Etobicoke, Ontario. Working plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 143,683-square-foot, three-story above grade, 1,300-seat educational facility; and day care center.
Replacement of Bishop Allen Academy. Project also includes a daycare facility. TIMELINE: Designs are complete. Provincial funding has been approved for this site. The project has been submitted for site plan approvals from the city of Toronto. Prequalification for general contractors has closed (RFSQ-003-24); as of June 17, 2024, six (6) firms have prequalified. Stage II tender timeline to the prequalified firms has yet to be confirmed. Estimated construction start early 2025 pending Ministry Approval to Proceed and Municipal Site Plan Approval March 2025. Target occupancy: September 2027.
