Renovation of a medical facility in Powell River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Expansion of the current 3 chair dialysis program to a 6 chair unit; by relocating it from the existing location on the 3rd floor to the second-floor rehab pool area.. An additional 30sqm will be taken from the rehab service area to meet the Net sqm. A new RO pump room is proposed to be placed below the existing pool in the pool equipment room. The RO System is separately procured and will be supplied by Canadian water technologies. No work is required to the 3rd floor existing suite. RO pump room equipment will be removed by others. The Scope of work for this project involves: Preparation and expansion by 30sqm of the 2nd floor rehab pool area. Seal and cap the existing pool with a new structural floor including removal of the pool lift equipment, expansion joints and coring for new plumbing.. New ceilings, window treatment; tv post installation; new resilient flooring c/w self leveling topping to level floor surface. New walls, doors, millwork and RO perimeter wall cabinets, data, power, nurse call, Hand Hygiene stations electrical and mechanical upgrades to suit the new program. Coordination with CWT owners equipment vendor who will install the RO Loop and RO pump room equipment. Some exterior soffit work for pipes through slabs.
