Site work for a water / sewer project in Towson, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of February 8, 2021, the project was canceled and will rebid.** Towson University is seeking a qualified Contractor to perform all work necessary to remove two (2) existing underground fuel oil storage tanks (USTs), in accordance with all EPA and MDE regulations, and restore the site to existing conditions. If the total Bid Price is $100,000.00 or more, each Bidder shall furnish with his bid price a "bid bond" issued by a surety company licensed to issue bonds in the State of Maryland. The bond must be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the base bid price and shall be in the form specified with the bid documents. The Bidder to whom a contract in excess of $100,000.00 is awarded also must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, including executed Change Orders, in the form specified with the bid documents. These must be provided at the time of the signing of the contract and prior to the start of any work. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: 02/03/2021 - 4:30PM CONTRACT TERM: 06/01/2021 - 08/31/2021 The University reserves the right to cancel this IFB, to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, received in response to this IFB, and to waive or permit cure of minor irregularities as its best interests may require.
