Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hoquiam, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes construction of a new park, parking area, and associated infrastructure improvmenets. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. NOTICE is given that the City of Hoquiam will receive sealed bids for proposed improvements at Adams Street Waterfront Park. Work includes construction of a paved parking lot, signage, and a new park area with associated utilities. Future improvements not in this contract include a picnic shelter, bathroom, and viewing tower. All Work shall be performed in accordance with the Design Drawings provided in Part V, and Project Specifications provided in Part III of this bid document package. The City ofHoquiam Adams Street Waterfront Project will create a new waterfront park along the upper Grays Harbor Bay at the intersection of 5th Street and S. Adams Street. The project will renovate a vacant shoreline with site enhancements including a picnic shelter and paved parking lot. The park will provide new recreational opportunities and will provide environmental benefits improving storm drainage and properly treating existing and new storm water runoff. The project will implement the City's Shoreline Master Program goal ofproviding public access to the shoreline. Approximately 1050 cubic yards of concrete and asphalt debris excavation is proposed on this site
