In general, the work under this project consists of asphaltic milling, HMA pavement, culvert removal and replacement, new concrete curb and gutter, water main replacement, water services, sanitary and storm sewer rehabilitation, sidewalk replacement, decorative concrete sidewalk, pavement marking, restoration; and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The centerline length of the project is approximately 2.0-miles. This is a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP-Supplement) funded project. No information provided verbally, or by any other personnel, will be considered binding. All work under this Contract shall be completed by October 15, 2021. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the work in accordance with the date(s) set forth above shall be One Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Five dollars ($1,985.00) for each calendar day in excess thereof. Project Award: March 15, 2021. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price, payable to Walworth County, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract documents within fifteen (15) days after notification of award of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract documents, the bid bond shall be forfeited to Walworth County as liquidated damages. Walworth County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, received in response to this advertisement, to waive any irregularities in bidding, or to accept any bid they deem most advantageous to the County.
