Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 41,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, 12-bed medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Hospice Mississauga is looking to develop a hospice centre which forms part of the first Campus of Care in the City of Mississauga which also includes a built and operational 632-bed long-term care home. Located at 2176 Speakman Drive within Sheridan Park Corporate Centre, Hospice Mississauga's future Hospice Centre will offer a critical new dimension to our current end-of-life care services, and for our culturally diverse community. The hospice offers 12 suites in a beautiful home-like setting, it aims to ease caregivers' overwhelming responsibilities of care and enable more quality time together in those final days. Hospice Mississauga has retained BTY Consultancy Group Inc. (BTY) as the Project Manager/Owner's Representative and Arcadis as the Prime Design Consultant for the project. Trillium Health Partners will play a key role in bringing the project to completion and will be critically involved in oversight of the procurement and tender process as well as the construction and turnover of the facility. The new Hospice Centre, named The Welton Centre for Hospice Palliative Care, is slated to open in Winter 2027.
