Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. Project Scope: Install a perimeter fence around the Tacoma Dome Complex. The City of Tacoma (City), Tacoma Venues & Events (TVE), is seeking bids from qualified firms to construct a security fence around the perimeter of the Tacoma Dome complex. This fence will be ornamental metal, top rail, and non-chain-link. A minimum of eight (8) feet tall. The desired fence will be constructed of an anti-climb, anti-pass-through design (Wire works anti-climb or equivalent). The fence will include a portion of the chain-link fence, located along the east greenway. This fence shall include a maximum of seventeen (17) vehicle access swing gates sixteen (16) manual vehicle swing gates and one (1) motorized remotely controlled gate of sufficient size to allow a semi-truck and trailer to pass. This fence will also include twenty-nine (29) non-motorized dual pedestrian gates. Seventeen (17) of these pedestrian gates will be covered. Ten (10) exit cages, not connected to the fence line. The chain-link fence will be approximately 485 linear feet. The anti-climb security fence will be approximately 3045 linear feet.
