Site work for a water / sewer project in Red Hook, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a 15,000-square-foot water / sewer project.

**As of March 24, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined at this time. The work of Contract 1G - General Construction includes, but is not limited to, installation of a new 50,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant; installation of a sewer forcemain collection system with approximately 15,000 feet of 2", 3", 4" and 6" HDPE sewer installed by excavation and directional drilling, along with air release valves, isolation valves and cleanouts; installation of 131 septic tank effluent pump systems including the septic tanks, pumps, controllers and interconnecting wiring), along with 1-1/2" HDPE sewer service laterals and shutoffs; connections to existing building sewers; installation of effluent pump control panels along with installation and interconnection of power and control connections to the effluent pumps; installation of grease traps; abandonment and removal of existing septic tanks, cess pools, drywells and leach fields impacted by new construction; miscellaneous related work; and total site restoration. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Orders No. 11246 and No. 11375, which pertain to nondiscrimination in employment. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Bidding and Contract Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with the NYSEFC MWBE utilization goals of 23% and all other NYSEFC requirements for this project that is receiving funding from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). The Village of Red Hook reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with the NYSEFC MWBE utilization goals of 23% and all other NYSEFC requirements for this project that is receiving funding from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
