Estimated Cost ; $320,000 to $385,000 Underground Storage Tank Contractor (UMX or UMI Certified); Above Ground Storage Tank Contractor (AMMX or AMEX Certified); and General / Electrical Site Contractor The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; replacement of gasoline and diesel fuel dispensers; modification to gasoline UST; repairs to gasoline and diesel ASTs; new power and controls wiring in conduits, including trenching, backfill and pavement restoration; concrete island replacement; associated testing and inspection of fuel system modifications and upgrades. All fuel system work must be performed by a PaDep certified tank handling company. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature in PennBid. The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of Monday, May 3, 2021. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section (Exhibit "C") of the Bid Document. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the Township. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for the employment are not discriminated against because of their, race, color, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or because of a person's sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
