**As of March 24, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined at this time. The work of Contract 1E - Electrical includes, but is not limited to, electrical power, control and lighting work at the new wastewater treatment plant site; electrical power work at approximately 131 building locations to provide power from interior power panels to effluent pump control panels provided and located by Contract 1G; concealed and exposed wiring, interior and exterior to existing buildings; installation of circuit breakers in existing panels or providing new subpanels and associated feeder breakers inter- connected to existing panels; and restoration of building spaces disturbed by the electrical work. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Orders No. 11246 and No. 11375, which pertain to nondiscrimination in employment. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Bidding and Contract Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with the NYSEFC MWBE utilization goals of 23% and all other NYSEFC requirements for this project that is receiving funding from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). The Village of Red Hook reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with the NYSEFC MWBE utilization goals of 23% and all other NYSEFC requirements for this project that is receiving funding from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
