Any prospective offeror desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc, must request it in writing. Questions regarding the original solicitation or any amendment must be received by the Procurement Officer no later than five (5) days prior to opening unless an earlier date is stated on the Cover Page. Label any communication regarding your questions with the name of the procurement officer, and the solicitations title and number. Oral explanations or instructions will not be binding. Performance and Payment Bonds may be waived by the Agency at its discretion for projects under $50,000.Contractor Shall Be a Licensed Contractor in the Contractors Field of Work and Shall Provide Proof of License in Accordance With the Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation State Licensing Board for Contractors, Contractor Shall Be Free of Any Claims, Judgements and or Orders Against Them. Contractor must be a Licensed SC General Contractor. Contractor shall not have any claims, judgments and or orders against them.
The State reserves the right to require complete, certified copies of all required insurance policies, including endorsements required by this section, at any time Should any of the above described policies be cancelled before the expiration date thereof, notice will be delivered in accordance with the policy provisions. In addition, the Contractor shall notify the State immediately upon receiving any information that any of the coverages required by this section are or will be changed, cancelled, or replaced. The State reserves the right to modify these requirements, including limits, based on the nature of the risk, prior experience, insurer, coverage, or other special circumstances.
