Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Edisto Island, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to provide a fully complete structure in accordance with normally accepted construction practices and specifications. Smith Built Pole Barn utilizing tubular steel trusses is the basis of design. Building consists of a 40x 80 shed with a 12 foot eave height. Building shall be a pre-engineered building constructed in a manner consistent with Pole Building construction and designed for all dead, live, seismic and wind loads as required by the 2018 International Building Code, State and Local Codes. Contractor shall provide documentation of building compliance with applicable codes and signed and sealed drawings by a Professional Engineer licensed to preform work in South Carolina. All costs for required licenses, permits, and insurance shall be borne by the contractor and secured by the contractor. The contractor shall purchase and maintain Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, and Workers Compensation insurance as specified in the SE-377 Minor Construction Contract. construction contracts valued in excess of $50,000 be provided with both a performance and a labor and material payment bond in the full amount of the contract. Performance and Payment Bonds may be waived by the Agency at its discretion for projects under $50,000. QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: 2/10/2021 4 pm E.S.T.
