Site work for a civil project in Durham, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Durham, North Carolina, Department of Water Management (DWM) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consulting firms to provide Professional Engineering Services for the 2021 Improvements for Access to Utility Easements and Facilities project. The selected consultant will assist the DWM by providing design, permitting, bidding, and construction-related services so that maintenance and emergency crews can reach various water and sewer infrastructure. Locations are predominately in easements, City property, or City rights-of-way. This project will also include making improvements on the City-owned parcel at the Pettigrew Street elevated storage tank (EST) for construction materials storage. The scope of services for the selected consultant may consist of some or all of the following tasks: data gathering, site visits, public notification, preliminary design (survey and possible minor SUE and/or geotechnical services), permitting, bidding, and construction-related services.
