Cooling Tower Replacement at Independence High, Chapmans Retreat ES, Heritage ES, and Boiler Replacement at Kenrose ES, Heritage ES, Westwood ES Williamson County Schools (WCS) is currently accepting electronic bids from qualified bidders interested in submitting a bid for Cooling Tower Replacement at IHS, CRES, HES and Boiler Replacement at KES, HES, WWES. Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, WCS has changed how "public" bid openings are conducted Therefore, this RFB opening will be conducted electronically. This electronic format will continue to ensure that the sealed bid process is conducted while safeguarding the participants and avoiding physical & social contact. All electronic bids should be competitive, complete with all details and will remain secure and confidential until they are opened, read aloud and a bid tabulation is compiled. RFB submittals will be received electronically via email only. Each participating bidder shall complete the bid cover sheets, add any required documents, scan, and send their completed electronic bids to the following email addresses ONLY: Joan Breeding joanb1@wcs.edu and Ben Hunter (Entech Engineering) bhunter@entechtn.com. DO NOT copy anyone on the emailed bid submittal. A 30-minute time period between the bid submittal deadline and the zoom meeting is to give WCS staff time to open the emails, print, collate and have them ready to be read out loud. Details on the zoom meeting and instructions on how to join the zoom meeting will be included in the bid documents. A pre-bid meeting will be conducted for this project. The date and meeting place have yet to be determined. This information will be announced in the Invitation to Bid. Nothing contained in the commissioned designers, engineers or architects RFB document or amendments thereto shall eliminate or reduce the requirements contained in the extended legal advertisement. The Bidder agrees to 100% complete/finish the work of the Base Bid and all accepted Alternates. By July 31, 2021 The last addendum is required to be issued no later than 48 hours prior to bid opening. No addendums will be allowed after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
