Site work and paving for a civil project in Lake Forest, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

The project consists of ravine stabilization efforts on both the north and south side of Ringwood Road South. The project also features the lining of the culvert under Ringwood Road utilizing two methods. The City reserves the right to extend the Bid Deadline from this date and time to accept Bids submitted after the Bid Deadline, as the City, in its sole discretion, determines is in the best interest of the City. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the City reserves the right to defer, postpone, delay, or reschedule the Bid Opening for such time and to such date as the City, in its sole discretion, determines is in the best interest of the City. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office. Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as not being responsive. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in the form of an electronic bid bond payable to The City of Lake Forest. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish either both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the City for 100 percent of the Contract Price, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. RIGHTS RESERVED: The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or award each schedule individually, to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept the Bid which best serves the interests of the City. The City shall, in its sole discretion, determine what does or does not constitute an informality or technicality, and, in submitting a Bid, the Bidder agrees to be bound by that determination. WAGE RATES: The CONTRACTOR shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates for Lake County Illinois on the project as established by the Illinois Department of Labor.
