Project has been Awarded but Award amount was not confirmed. As of April 13, 2022, this project is under construction. Work began the first week of April. For all labor, materials and services necessary for the construction of FCS Administrative Renovations (Hill Educational Center & Buildings 1130 and 1140); 136 Almon C. Hill Drive and 1130 & 1140 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, GA 30040. Any General Contractor submitting a Proposal must procure a set of the Contract Documents from the Architect. All anticipated local permits required for the project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated on or before March 22, 2021. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Proposal opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (exclusive of alternates and unit prices). Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all bonds. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required for the following subcontractors: the fire protection subcontractor, the electrical subcontractor, the plumbing subcontractor, and the mechanical subcontractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities. *Additional documentation has been released that may impact pricing.
