Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 Network Contracting Office 6 intends to release a Solicitation for Construction Services to perform all required work associated to Correct FCA Deficiencies in HVAC Systems, VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and expertise required to connect emergency power to mechanical equipment including controls to the following areas: Central Plant (Building 110D), Radiology (Building 110A 2nd Floor), ICU, and 3E and 4E (Building 110). All works shall be completed in conformance with Government produced specifications and drawings. Work is composed of, but not limited to, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, equipment, scheduling, inspection and testing, environmental protection, recording of (As-Built) drawings and project closeout. A Pre-Proposal Site Visit is tentatively projected for December 20, 2023, at 10:00AM EDT and Potential Offerors should RSVP no later than 3:00PM EDT, December 19, 2023, via email to Cilena.Adams@va.gov. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to confirm receipt of RSVP. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, and materials necessary to the Pre-Proposal Site Visit. The Government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The Government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or proposal preparation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with a size standard of $19.0M. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00 IAW VAAR 836.204 (f)(1). The solicitation will be issued on a restricted basis and will be 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. However, should this pre-solicitation notice fail to provide adequate socio-economic interest to merit the continued reservation of the set-aside, the projected site visit may be cancelled. If a qualified SDVOSB is indeed interested in this requirement and is not going to attend the site visit, please ensure that your firm s interest in this project is communicated to the POC for this notice by the previously identified RSVP date above.
