190 tons of Asphalt Pavement for Streets, 395 tons of Asphalt Pavement for Bikepaths, 10 CY of Granular Material for Base, 50 LF of Concrete Curb and Gutter, 50 SF of 4" Sidewalk, 300 SF of 5" Concrete Bikepath (8' wide), and other miscellaneous items. Each bid must have a pdf document which contains an acceptable bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute a contract in accordance with the term of the bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Grand Forks City Council. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest of the City of Grand Forks. The work, if awarded, shall be completed by September 10, 2021. Work of Project 8280.01 shall consist of the annual maintenance and repairs of asphalt streets Citywide (locations to be determined by Project Engineer). Work on Project 8280.02 shall consist of a 9' wide, 1.5" overlay on the existing 8'-10' wide bikepath along Columbia Road and 62 nd Avenue South from the northern intersection of Pinehurst Drive to 750 feet west of the intersection of Kings View Drive. Work shall include placement of topsoil and seeding with hydromulch to eliminate abrupt drop offs in areas where the existing bikepath may be wider than the overlay. Limits of described work shall be determined in the field by the engineer.
