Renovation of a library in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The project includes making safe of the library, demolition of the exiting skylight in the library, and installation of a new skylight. The project includes demolition and reconstruction of a skylight in the 3 rd floor roof of the Library in the Student wing of the School building. The library will be maintaining operations throughout the duration of the project which will require the setup of temporary hard barriers to protect occupants from construction. Project requires off-hours work and/or shift work Complete (3) bay-skylight and framing replacement project at the UMMS Lamar Soutter Library. Scope includes new composite metal panel, insulation and roofing tie in to existing Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate General Bid Deadline 2/19/21 Time 2:00 P.M. Sub Bid Category Glass/Glazing 1. Make all components and portions of the Work fit together properly. 2. Uncover portions of the Work to accommodate installation of ill-timed Work. 3. Remove and replace non-conforming Work. 4. Remove samples of installed work for inspection and testing. 5. Provide penetrations for piping, conduit, ducts, and other penetrations, including penetrations required for other Work under separate work but related Contracts (cores, penetrations, etc. are noted on the drawings)
