For Carpet and LVT Flooring The purpose of this ITB is to establish an agreement for the removal and haul-off of current flooring, proper preparation of sub-floor, and the installation of carpet or LVT flooring in various District buildings described herein. It is the intent of the District to award a service contract to a single vendor. The intent is to assure that carpet and flooring is maintained on an annual basis in all of our facilities to ensure proper a safe environment for students and staff. The physical state and reliable function of carpet and flooring is one of primary concern to the Liberty Public School District. The undersigned Bidder agrees to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract value prior to execution of the formal service contract, agreement or issuance of an official district purchase order. Work shall begin on or about June 1, 2021. Work shall be substantially complete, excluding additional projects added to the original scope of work, by July 31, 2021. The District reserves the right to accept the Bid that, in its judgment, is the lowest and/or best Bid. The delivery date(s) or dates when work will start shall be stated in definite terms, as they will be taken into consideration when making the award.
