Bids for, Morgan City High School 1st Floor HVAC Replacement, Morgan City, La, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, or cashiers check in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid, made payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the contract documents. The bid security of all bidders, except the three lowest, will be returned promptly after the canvas of bids. The St. Mary Parish School Board reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in, or to reject any/or all bids. The Contractors attention is called to Act. No. 233 of the 1956 Legislature and to the Rulings of the Louisiana Contractors Licensing Board. The Contractor hereby also agrees to pay as Liquidated Damages, for the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not complete, beginning with the first day beyond the completion day of July 31, 2021. The Base Bid contractor shall begin submittal process immediately upon receipt of notice to proceed. The construction site will be available for demolition to begin on June 4, 2021 and shall be completed by July 31, 2021. Contractor shall coordinate receipt of equipment materials, etc.to coincide with timetable of Phasing. Contractor shall coordinate through owner's representative and shall cooperate to provide efficient interfacing of activities.
