A contract has not been finalized but will be in the new year. Construction will not commence until the first quarter of 2023. New PK-5th grade school facility, single story, approximately 71,000GSF. Refer to drawings for scope, location, and layout. Refer to specifications for products approved for the project. 2. Facilities and fencing to maintain secure separation between project construction site and existing school building to remain occupied during construction. 3. Abatement and removal of existing school building upon completion of new facility. 4. Paving, site features, and landscaping associated with new building. The Dallas Independent School District's Construction Services projects have a 30% Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) construction goal. A Proposal bond on Dallas ISD Proposal Guarantee Bond Form, from a Surety authorized to transact business in the State of Texas, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the greatest total amount of the proposed contract amount (Base Price plus all Allowances), payable without recourse to the order of the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees, must accompany the Proposal as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the proposer will promptly enter into and execute the Contract and Performance and Payment Bonds on the forms provided.
