Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 153,000-square-foot educational facility; for the addition of a 280-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Work generally consists of the phased renovation of the existing estimated 153,000 square foot school and the construction of (1) one addition totaling approximately 280 square foot. The fire pump room additions will be constructed of reinforced masonry and steel framing.The scope includes but not limited to adding a fire suppression sprinkler system throughout, full kitchen renovation, converting a courtyard to an outside classroom, upgrade the mechanical, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems. Interior finishes, fixtures, equipment, casework, furniture and furnishings indicated shall be provided by Contractor unless noted otherwise. Responsibility for maintenance of all existing erosion control devices, if provided under a separate contract, is included. Request must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the bid opening date. Failure to do so will result in the Bidder not being able to submit a bid response. Documents will not be distributed.
