Site work for a road / highway in Quesnel, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Construction of 5.6 km of new two-lane roadway to reconnect the West Fraser Road between communities of Quesnel and Williams Lake. The Project includes clearing and grubbing, organic stripping, Type D and Type A roadway excavations, sub-grade construction, granular materials, paving, construction of 122 m long bridge on steel piles with concrete girders, riprap production and placement, installation of culverts, concrete block walls, rock face stabilization, roadside barriers, seeding, fencing and signs. The Site is located on West Fraser Road approximately 22 km south of Quesnel on the west side of the Fraser River. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
