Site work and renovation of a swimming pool in Hinsdale, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Replacement of pool decks, fencing, repairs to filtration building, replacement of pool filters, repairs to pool walls and repainting of pool. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a Bid Bond (AIA Document A310) or certified check made payable to the Village of Hinsdale (Owner) in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, as guarantee that if the bidder's base proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into. This is a public works project, which requires payment of prevailing rates of wages in accordance with Illinois law.The Owner encourages minority business firms to submit bids for the performance of the Work and the successful bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors and suppliers for labor, equipment, and services. The Village of Hinsdale reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid proposals or to accept any bid proposal, which in its judgement, will be to the best interest of the public, or to waive any informalities in bidding. A contract will be awarded at the March 16, 2021 meeting of the Village Board. After the award of this contract, this Contractor will be expected to provide the Prequalified Contractor name and company to Illinois Department of Public Health as soon as possible, submit all shop drawings and submittals to the Architect, purchase required equipment prior to the premises being made available for construction on September 7, 2021 Project Substantial Completion is expected no later than December 31, 2021. Demonstration, Training and Project Closeout including Pool Startup and Illinois Dept. of Public Health site approval for occupancy is to occur prior to the at a mutually agreed upon date in the Spring of 2022 prior to the 2022 Village of Hinsdale Swim Season
