The City intends to select a design-build firm to provide the following services: the design, permitting, and construction for a standby generator replacement and electrical infrastructure upgrade project at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility 500 East Adams Street Jacksonville FL. 32202. for the City of Jacksonville Public Works Department, Public Buildings Division. The Project Schedule must comply with the following construction completion requirement: The Contractor shall begin work within ten (10) calendar days, including Sundays and holidays, after the date of written notice from the owner to begin work, and shall complete the design and construction work within 240 calendar days, including Sundays and holidays, after the expiration of such ten (10) day notice. If the Bidder determines that off hours work is anticipated to complete the project within such allotted times, a schedule therefore shall be attached to this proposal as required by section 20.3.4 of the General Conditions. The DB firm shall deliver the 100% design MOP plans, based on the Design Criteria Package included in this RFP. The 90% plans shall include all the information needed for the first DMG and Permit review submittals. The work consists of the installation of a new stand by generator and all other work required to complete the work in accordance with the DCP. The Design Build Firm shall be responsible to comply with the changes and modifications to the most recent Florida Building Code and Supplement.
