Site work for a transportation facility in Lorton, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Amtraks requires a qualified designer of record (DOR) contractorwho can provide site and storm design for this project at Lorton auto trainstation in Virginia. In addition this project will need design for variousother site needs. Included provide all Labor, Supervision, materials, equipmentand all other necessary costs to complete design work at this station. All workshould be compliant w/local, state and federal codes including but not limitedto manufacturers warranty plus local and state code requirements. The DORShall also included code requirements for conditions such as hurricane windratings as a minimum. Amtrak is undertaking the design, procurement, construction and Designer of Records Construction phase services (CPS) for the Lorton VA Stationsite and storm project. There is an outdoor fenced enclosed child play area in front ofthe building. Since the station is for boarding the train with your car thereare boarding areas for the cars located at one end of the station. These aremonitored by Amtrak staff at all times.
