Major elements of the project include: 1. Replacement of the current existing Orange Technical College, Winter Park Campus located at 901 W. Webster Ave., Winter Park, Florida 32789. The new campus will be located at the existing University 9th Grade Center, 2450 Cougar Way, Orlando, Florida 32817, an approximately 31 acre campus adjacent to University High School. 2. Provision of approximately 120,000 gross square feet of renovated existing facilities on the University 9th Grade Center campus and new student and administrative spaces and required site amenities to support career and technical education and apprenticeship programs in the areas of Information and Digital Technology for adult and dual enrollment high school students. Selected programs include, but aren't limited to: a. Arts, Audiovisual Technology and Communications. b. Business Management and Administration. c. Information Technology d. Modeling and Simulation Design and Production e. Game Simulation and Animation. 3. Relocation of an existing high school culinary program currently housed in the 9th Grade Center campus to a new location in an existing or new building on the University High School campus. In addition to the required services outlined in the Contract, the consultant will be tasked to provide a life cycle cost analysis of multiple alternatives to the District's standard design requirements for various building systems. The existing Orange Technical College Winter Park Campus will remain an occupied campus while the new campus is under design and construction The estimated construction cost is in the range of $25M to $33M.
