Site work and paving for a civil project in Lowell, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project will rehabilitate approximately 3,800 LF of predominantly 8" and 12" gravity sewer using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining and several dig-and-replace point repairs. Assessment and repair of service laterals along with installation of cleanouts is included. Associated manholes will be inspected and rehabilitated as necessary using injection grouting to stop active leaks and cementitious lining. Additional footage may be added under a find-and-fix approach. CIPP lining, pipe bursting, and traditional dig-and-replace methods may be employed. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
