DSA File No: 7-H7 The project includes but not limited to the construction of a 1-story, 14410 square foot classroom building. The new building will include (8) laboratory classrooms, (2) laboratory prep rooms, new restrooms, and associated site work. Demo (8) portable classrooms and (1) portable restroom building. All bids shall be on the form provided by the district. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent contract documents,including but not limited to,the instructions to Bidders,Bid Form and Proposal,Bid Bond on the District's form or other security,Designated Subcontractors lost and non-collusion declaration must accompany each bid and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. Contractor Liscenses:B As security for its Bid, each bidder shall provide with its Bid form: a bid bond issued by an admitted surety isurer on the form provided by the district, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drwan to the order of the west contra costa unified school district, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% performance Bond and a 100% payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the project. Prospective bidders are notified that to bid on this project, the bidder is required to have been prequalified by the district. In addition, all subcontractors with the following license classification that intend to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor that is bidding directly to the district are required to have been prequlaified by the district: C-4, C-7,C-10, C-16,C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38,C-42, C-43 and/or C-46.
