The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the contractor supplying the labor, equipment, superintendence, material, etc. to perform patching of asphaltic concrete roadway or parking lot failures, within the unincorporated limits of Lafayette. The project will also include work to be done on an on-call basis. LCG will utilize a minimum of 16 tons or 30 square yards per call out. Removal and disposal of existing in-place material shall be the contractor's responsibility. The contract begins within ten (10) working days from the receipt of the "Notice to Proceed" and extends through March 31, 2022. The Lafayette Consolidated Government reserves the option to increase contract quantities should additional funding becomes available. The contract may be extended from the contract finalization with an option to renew for one additional year beyond the primary term of this contract at the mutual agreement of owner and contractor. In accordance with Louisiana RS 38:2212., vendors may submit their bid electronically at the website listed above. Bidders submitting bids electronically are requested to provide the same documents as bidders submitting through the mail as soon as available. Only a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check shall be submitted as the bid security. Electronic copies of both the front and back of the check or bid bond shall be included with the electronic bid.
